Can every surface around a house be pressure washed?
No. Worn coatings, loose material, fragile finishes, cracks and damaged joints can change what is appropriate. A surface that looks durable may still need a gentler method or may not be a good cleaning candidate. We review these details before confirming the scope.
Siding and other vertical surfaces need their own inspection. A driveway quote is not a promise to clean roofs, decks, windows or every exterior material. Ask about the exact surface you have instead of choosing a whole-property treatment without a review.
How should I prepare the driveway or patio?
Move vehicles, toys, planters, furniture and practical loose items out of the quoted area. Close nearby doors and windows. Tell us about damaged seals, loose trim, exterior outlets or anything that must remain dry so those concerns can be considered before cleaning.
Point out objects that are too heavy to move and areas you do not want disturbed. We will agree on access and exclusions rather than assume the crew will relocate every item. Keep children and pets away from the work zone and hose routes.
What about landscaping and where the water goes?
During the property review, identify flower beds, delicate plants, pond areas, neighboring property and drains. Grade and runoff direction matter when deciding where work can take place and what preparation is needed.
We discuss the cleaning area and water-handling needs before starting. Tell us about known drainage problems, pooling water or a garage that takes in runoff. Cleaning is not a repair for those conditions, and they may affect the plan.
Can you remove oil marks or green buildup?
Appropriate treatment can improve many common types of surface soil and buildup on suitable materials. Results depend on the surface, age of the mark, previous treatments and how deeply the contamination has penetrated. Photos help start the discussion, but they cannot always establish what is below the surface.

When is a good time to schedule exterior cleaning?
Start with a time when the work area can be clear and outdoor conditions are suitable. If you have guests, a move-out or another deadline, share that date in the request. We confirm availability rather than promise a specific appointment from the website.
For rentals, arrange permission and access with the responsible owner or manager. If several surfaces are requested, list your priorities so the estimate can separate essential work from optional areas. An estimate request does not commit you to extra work.
